Putting your self first. That is the first step to self love. Taking time for your needs is important. Growing in what makes you feel you, what makes you feel happy. You should not be labeled as selfish for finally putting your self first, allowing your self to grow, and knowing your boundaries.
That was a big one let me repeat that. Knowing your boundaries. Stop messing with people who make you feel like you're hard to love. "You're to difficult".
This is still one of the hardest things for me. Is knowing it is okay to step back and do things for me. I had to learn to be selfish. In order to realize I am beautiful. My mental illness does not define me or limit my potential. I am capable to love who i am, and love the life i am living.
so this is my question for you..
What makes you, feel you? What makes you feel happy? What makes you feel like the main character? What makes life worth living for you?
The little things do matter. Waking up making breakfast for your self because your worthy is not selfish. Staying in instead of going out. It is self-care. It is needed.
